Tater Topped Casserole

We are always looking for new ways to cook ground beef, burgers can get boring after a while and hamburger helper can be repetitive. This casserole is surprisingly tasty and super easy to make. We usually cover the whole casserole with tater tots to  increase its tastiness!

Another one for the crock-pot! We love the crock-pot through the whole year but the most of all during the winter. This is the type of soup that you want to curl up with when it's blowing snow outside and that's usually what we do!

Banana Cream Pudding Pie

In celebration of Thanksgiving we thought we would share our favorite pie recipe! This recipe is a great addition to the classics (pumpkin and apple of course) and is super easy to make. We like to swap the pastry crust for a graham cracker crust, which we think makes this pie a real crowd please-er!

Swiss Steak

Buying meat by the quarter means you get some cuts that can be difficult to know what to do with. Round steaks are not meat to be eaten in the traditional way you would cook a steak because they are significantly tougher than other steak cuts. Swiss steak takes the toughness out of round steak and is one of our favorite ways to use this difficult cut!

For this recipe, you can use some of those ham steaks you aren't sure how to finish up! Also a bonus, this dish takes only about 20 minutes to make and even less than that if you make the pasta ahead of time.
